Details Of A Suicide Note Left By Sergeant Kipyegon Found Dead At Imara Daima

Details have emerged revealing the last words of the slain Sergeant Kipyegon Kenei attached to Deputy President Dr William Ruto’s Harambee Annex office when Rashid Echesa visited the premises alongside foreign investors.

The body of a police officer attached to Deputy President William Ruto’s office was found by a house help on Thursday.

Sergeant Kipyegon Kenei’s body was discovered inside the servant quarter he lives in at Imara Daima’s Villa Franca estate.

Officers from Embakasi arrived at the scene only to find the body of their fellow officer soaked in blood with a bullet wound on his head. The decomposing body of the officer was already producing a foul smell a clear indication that he had died some days before it was discovered.

The 33 year old  Seargent Kipyegon was lying dead on the floor with a bullet wound which had entered through the chin and exited through the head. It also hit the ceiling of the said house.

“Call my cousin Ben and brother,” read the suicide note in part

Besides the body was a suicide note believed to have been written by the Sergeant. Details of the note shared by the police indicate the slain Sergeant Kipyegon had asked anyone who will find his body to call his cousin identified as Ben and his brother

The Nyumba Kumi chairman Mr.Peter Amunga said the officer had not been seen for two days.

“He lives in an extension of a main house. The person living in the main house had noticed the door to the officer’s house had been open for more than a day and asked their house help to go and check what was happening. We also noticed his clothes had not been taken out to dry as was the norm,” he said.

Amunga said the body of the officer was discovered by a house help. When the woman tried to open the door further, it wouldn’t move and she then decided to call the security guards to help..

According to the OB from Embakasi Division police station, the incident was reported by Charles Ng’ang’a a neighbor who is a resident of Villa Franca Estate. Charles reportedly noticed a foul smell coming from his neighbor’s house.
