TSC Announces Vacancies For Recruitment of Teachers

In a move to bridge the gap of teacher shortages in Kenyan schools, Teachers Service Commission has announced 4117 vacancies for teachers.

The new teachers will replace those teachers who have exited the service through natural attrition. Of these, 3348 posts are for primary schools whereas 769 posts are for post primary schools and institutions

Qualifications

Those seeking to secure jobs in primary schools should have applied during the recently concluded August application process. The qualified candidates will be selected from the county merit list compiled during the August 2019 recruitment of additional teacher’s exercise. In addition one must be a holder of P1 certificate and be a registered member with teachers service commission.

Those seeking for posts in post primary schools and institutions  should apply to the secretary, board of management of the school or institution where the vacancy has been advertised and submit a copy to TSC County Director.

All interested candidates should submit their applications to the respective county director and board of management not later than Tuesday 24th September.
