Facebook Story and WhatsApp Status to be Linked

In a move to increase the audience base Facebook Story and WhatsApp Status are linking up. This move will enable user of the two giant social media to share more content across platforms.

Facebook co owns whatsApp and instagram and to cement its command in the social media network, a lot of changes have been happening to improve the 3 social; medias and make them more user friendly.

Testing

This new feature was tested in June and was successful, The roll out phase is in the loop with the official date yet to be made official.

The feature will enable users to share their WhatsApp status on Facebook. A ‘Share Status’ button will be added on WhatsApp Status to enable users add their WhatsApp status on their facebook Story.

To use this service one needs to have both WhatsApp account and Facebook or Facebook lite on their smartphone. One will be able to add one or more of their WhatsApp Status as their Facebook Story.

It is a matter of wait and see how this will work out. Already users are anxious and can’t wait for its roll out.
