Telkom Pewa Credo. How to get advance airtime from Telkom

Telkom allows its customers who have used their Telkom lines for a while to get airtime and credit in advance and repay it later through its Telkom Pewa credit plan.

Through this plan, Telkom Kenya subscribers can request for advance airtime from as little as 10 an the maximum depends on ones limit. The available package ranges from Ksh.10, 20,50,100 and so on. The more the Telkom subscribers use the Telkom SIM card, the more one increases their chances to borrow more or qualify for a greater Telkom Pewa limit.

How to get advance credit from Telkom. Telkom Pewa.

One can get advance airtime from Telkom by dialing *133# . You will be presented with the limit with which you can borrow. Choose your preferred amount you wish to get as advance Telkom credit by following the prompts.

Apart from the Telkom Pewa airtime you can also select Pewa Bundles to be able to purchase data bundles on credit with Telkom.

Once you complete the process, the airtime will be send to your Telkom line immediately. The good news is that if the Pewa bundles option is not favorable for you, you can use the Pewa airtime option and use the airtime to purchase data bundles.

How much will you receive after making a Telkom Pewa Subscription.

The amount send to Telkom subscribers upon selecting the Pewa amount they wish to get is usually less than the amount one will have to repay. For instance if you opted for Telkom Pewa worth Ksh.50, you will receive Ksh.45 as the Pewa credit.

However, when repaying you will repay Ksh.50. This is the same model used by other telecommunication companies such as Safaricom and Airtel.

Telkom usually deducts the Pewa credit on your next airtime recharge.

There is no Pewa Limit alocated to me

In this case, you either have a poor history of airtime usage with Telkom or your Telkom Line is still new.

Usually Telkom requires that your Telkom SIM card must have been in use for at least 3 months. You also need to be a regular user of the SIM card and history of recharging airtime is key before you can qualify for Telkom Pewa credit advance airtime.
