FaceApp Opposite Gender of Prominent Kenyan Leaders Emerge with some Reacting to how they look
FaceApp Photos depicting opposite gender of some prominent Kenyan politicians emerged online yesterday and spontaneously got Kenyans talking including the political class after going viral.
From the photos, the male politicians were depicted into their female version that caught some of them sending in their reaction. Among those who were depicted in the opposite gender include,Pesident Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga. Najib Balala, Babu Owino, Kipchumba Murkomen, Mike Sonko, Kalonzo Musyoka among others.
Reacting to his opposite gender photo Mike Sonko was shocked and at the same time surprised to the extend Kenyans would go to drive a point. He would later pause a question asking who was the most beautiful among them.
“Wakenya mutatunyesha maneno. Sasa hii ni APP gani jameni? Anyway nani msupuu hapa juu naona it has gone viral?” Sonko wrote on his twitter handle
The pictures were created using the famous mobile App called FaceApp that is widely used to depict individuals in various aspect. With FaceApp one can sneak into their old age to see how the App depicts them. One can also use the App to transform their photos into opposite gender.
The App was criticized some time back due to the terms and conditions of its usage. There were fears that photos being uploaded on the App would wrongfully be used without the owners consent. According to the Apps privacy policies,FaceApp can use the uploaded images in any manner they wish.
However, the claims were denied by the App developers citing that their was no ill intention in usage of the users images.
