Denni Itumbi and 4 others fired by the state
Director of Digital Innovations and Diaspora Communications at the State House Dennis Itumbi has been fired.
Itumbi was fired alongside several other employees of the President’s Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU). Immediately after getting fired, he edited his twitter handle from President’s Strategic Communications Director to a pig farmer.
Others sent home include James Kinyua (Events and Branding), Erick Ng’eno (Speechwriting and Research), David Nzioka and John Ndolo.

Dennis Itumbi had had not been new to controversy and last year he was arraigned in court over the DP murder plot. Itumbi who is a close ally of the Deputy President emerged with allegations that he had a tape in which some senior government officials were recorded plotting for the murder of the DP. A drafted repot on the plot had been linked to his office.
Most recently he was chased like a ‘mburukenge’ when he tried to access the president’s dais without permission during the launch of the BBI report.
Their posts were declared redundant by the state.
