Dennis Itumbi had had not been new to controversy and last year he was arraigned in court over the DP murder plot. Itumbi who is a close ally of the Deputy President emerged with allegations that he had a tape in which some senior government officials were recorded plotting for the murder of the DP. A drafted repot on the plot had been linked to his office.

Most recently he was chased like a ‘mburukenge’ when he tried to access the president’s dais without permission during the launch of the BBI report.

Their posts were declared redundant by the state.
