“Dear Dennis Itumbi..” Kipchumba Murkomen sends a heartfelt message to Itumbi and colleagues after they got fired
After Dennis Itumbi and three of his colleagues got fired from the President’s Strategic Communication Unit, many Kenyans took to social media to react to the unfortunate turn of events.
Itumbi may have seen these coming as he immediately edited his working profile on Twitter handle from President’s Strategic Communications Director to a pig farmer. This even fueled the discussion more on the social media.
Am I the only one who just found out that Itumbi was working for the government.All along I’ve always known that he was employed by Ruto privately.The guy has been fighting his employer as if it’s him paying the state-One online user stated.
Elgeiyo Marakwet senator Kipchumber Murkomen was among Kenyans who jumped on the band wagon and send a heartfelt message to the Ruto ally.
In his twitter message to Itumbi and colleagues, he acknowledged that the four had served the state with passion and commitment in the most difficult period. He noted that 3 elections and the ICC case were some of the most difficult times the four had to pass through while serving at the state house.

On the other hand, he noted that with the Coronavirus pandemic at hand, it was the worst time to lose a job. He however assured them of his prayers and hoped that God will provide for their families.
“Dear, 1. Dennis Itumbi 2. James Kinyua 3. Erick Ng’eno 4. David Nzioka You served the State with passion&commitment in the most difficult period;3 elections&ICC. With COVID19 it’s the worst time to lose a job. You are in my prayers. God will provide for u&ur families. It is well!” Senator Murkomen Stated
Itumbi was not new to controversy, a few months ago he was arraigned in court over the DP’s murder plot. Itumbi who is a close ally of the Deputy President emerged with allegations that he had a tape in which some senior government officials were recorded plotting for the murder of the DP.

Most recently he was chased from the dais like a ‘Mburukenge’ when he tried to access the president’s dais without permission during the launch of the BBI report.
Their posts were declared redundant by the state.
It is reported that, their contracts expired today, and they had applied for an extension.
However, the state declined to extend their contracts, and instead sent them home.
