Coronavirus patient asks for forgiveness
The first Tanzanian patient who was confirmed to be infected with coronavirus has asked for forgiveness from Tanzanians. The patient by the name Isabella Mwampamba gave the statement via a phone call and asked Tanzanians not to panic.
She was speaking with the Tanzanian health minister Ummy Mwalimu. In hers statement via phone that was put public, She apologized that she had to be the first Tanzanian to be confirmed with the virus.
When asked about her health condition by the minister, she said despite testing positive for the virus she was not in pain.

“Ninawaomba msamaha kwa kuwa mtu wa kwanza wa Corona hapa Tanzania na kutengeneza taharuki nchi nzima, hali yangu inaendelea vizuri maana siumwi chochote, wito wangu watu waache kukuza jambo, huu ugonjwa upo duniani kote” Isabella Stated.
On March 16th Tanzania confirmed its first Coronavirus incident from a woman who arrived in the country from Belgium.
So far Tanzania has 3 confirmed Coronavirus cases.
Here in Kenya health CS has confirmed three more cases today rising the number of Coronavirus patients to 7.
Kenyans have been asked to report any suspected case through the emergency hotline number. Those arriving in the country are tested and those who test negative are advised to self quarantine for 14 days.
