A passenger mysteriously dies on a bus after developing a cough
A man in his mid-30s has reportedly died on a Mombasa bound bus after he developed a cough.
According to the Standard Digital report, the driver of the bus told the police officers at Mtito Andei Police Station that the passenger by the name Fredrick Mwakima, started coughing when they arrived for a stopover at Taleh Hotel and died.
The bus was traveling from Nairobi to Mombasa when the incident happened. The drive of the bus, Charles Mburu did not state whether the man had shown signs of persistence cough from the time he boarded the bus.
The cause of the death is still unclear, meanwhile the police have reported that Public health officers have moved in to fumigate the bus.

Following the increasing cases of Coronavirus infections in the country, passengers and authorities were cautious as one of the symptoms of coronavirus is associated with coughing.
Kenya so far has 15 confirmed cases of Coronavirus infections with several other suspected cases still under quarantine.
