More information is flowing in unearthing the dealings of the former sports Minister Rashid Echesa. After the expose on how Echesa stole three from a widow, Esther Kabura, another vehicle has been established to be in Echesa’s hands illegally.

Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives have established that the registration number KCW298Q of a Toyota Land Cruiser V8 that was impounded from former Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa’s compound on Monday belongs to someone else.

The DCI searched the registration number of the car and traced it to another owner – a Mazda belonging to a Ms Irene Mueni.

The DCI has since appealed to Ms Mueni to present herself to the detectives to assist in ongoing investigations.

On Monday, DCI officers attached to the Serious Crimes Unit raided the former CS’s home in Karen where they took away five cars.They were denied entry by Echesa into the country and they climed over the perimeter wall to access the compound
