Nairobi County operates on a cashless mode of payment for most county payments. Nairobi motorists can now pay parking fee through the Nairobi county Mpesa paybill number found on the epayment portal or through the short USSD code option.
On December 5, 2018, parking fee for privately owned cars was reduced from Sh300 to Sh200 as stipulated in the County Finance Bill by the Nairobi County Assembly.
In addition to having the parking fee reduced, Nairobians are now able to pay the fees using their phones, and the process only takes less than a minute.

How to pay for Nairobi parking fee with App or online epayment platform
The Nairobi City County Government (NCCG) parking online portal is the new easy way for you to pay for your parking fees. Follow the following simple steps to make parking fee
#Step 1: Create an account first on the Nairobi City County Government (NCCG) if you do not have
#Step 2: Log into the Nairobi City County Government NCCG online parking payment portal.
#Step 3: Select parking option from the platform or App
#Step 4: Select the parking zone/area in the Nairobi City county that you are in or wish to park at
#Step 5: Select the vehicle type
#Step 6: Enter the vehicle registration details
The parking fee for your vehicle will be highlighted on the screen.
#Step 7: Select confirm and continue
In the next screen you will be able to see the details you have entered
#Step 8: Enter your Phone number and press on Pay
You will receive a SIM tool kit push (STK push) on their phone and you will only be required to input their M-pesa pin.
#Step 9: Enter your PIN and select okay to complete the transaction.
Once the payment is complete you can be able to print a receipt for reference.
