This campus is found in Rift valley region in Uasin Gishu county in Eldoret town. It is at the south east of Eldoret town. The distance from Eldoret town to Moi University Main Campus is about thirty five kilometers. For those using Nairobi to Eldoret highway, you do not have to reach Eldoret town.

Moi University Main Campus is at Kesses area in Eldoret which is before Eldoret town. It takes six hours from Nairobi city to Eldoret when traveling by a vehicle. Then from Nakuru to Eldoret, it takes two hours and ten minutes which is a distance of one hundred and ten kilometers.

You divert from the Eldoret town to Nakuru Highway in Cheptiret to get to Moi University Main Campus. When driving, it is fourteen kilometers from Cheptiret to Kesses center. From there, the university is located five kilometers on Kesses Moi University Road.

There are many stages in Eldoret town where the matatus are picked. Most matatus are found at main stage which is near White Castle Hotel located on Uganda road. The stage is behind Turskys Supermarket in Eldoret. Other matatus can be picked from the opposite Eldoret Barngetuny Plaza especially in evening time.
