List of 16 University Courses Rejected by all KCSE Candidates
It is now emerging that there are a total of 16 courses that were completely shunned by all the 2019 KCSE candidates. These courses were seen as not appealing to most candidates hence resulting in rejection of the courses during selection.
Figures from Kenya Universities and College Central placement (KUCCPS) have revealed that no KCSE candidate who sat for the 2019 national exams picked any of the 16 courses.

Bachelor of Education in Technology
Bachelor of Science of Agricultural Education and Extension

This comes in a wake of the revelation that 122,831 applicants placed to university courses, 66,661 (54.27 per cent) will join Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (Stem) programs.
45.73 percent which represents 56,170 applicants were placed to arts and humanity courses. Of the applicants placed to Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics(STEM), 42,267 (63.41 per cent) are male while 24,394 (36.59 per cent) are female. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery offered at the University of Nairobi (UoN) is the most competitive degree course in the country now.
