How Wealthy Papa Dennis Was And The Sources Of His Money
Dennis Kimani Popularly known as Papa Dennis was not your ordinary guy. His high end music videos were accompanied with helicopters and top of the notch cars ranging from sport cars to Mercedes Benz. From the Makeke collabo he made with Jimmy Gait to Nakushukuru. It was obvious that Papa Dennis used to cough out huge sums of money.
For any ordinary Kenyan artists the struggles of shooting a quality video are real considering the expenses involve. For many it would cost an arm and a leg but for Papa Dennis frequent tours to South Africa and other parts of the world for video shooting was a common phenomenon.
A little unknown artist from Matunda Western Kenya, Papa Dennis was discovered at the Maliza Umasikini initiative in Matunda Kakamega. He later came to limelight and sooner than later Papa Dennis was a household name. He drove in expensive cars, dressed in expensive clothes and would afford any artist for a collabo.

According to Muhindi the founder of Maliza Umasikini NGO, his departure from Maliza Umasikini after his contract ended was mutual. “We parted ways amicably. It is sad that he has passed way and we do not want to pr-empt investigations on whether he committed suicide or was pushed out of the building. He was okay,talented had a family and expanded his horizons” Noted Mr. Muhindi.
In an interview Papa Dennis said he had Ksh. 50 in three different bank accounts. At one point he was considered to be among the wealthiest musician in east Africa having signed a lucrative deal with rich businessmen running into millions. At one point he received Ksh.15 Million from Dubai tycoon. The son of famous Dubai businessman offered him Ksh.20 Million in a meeting with Sadat Muhindi of Maliza umasikini.

Sometimes back Papa Dennis shared a video on social media flaunting is money with His sister.
At the point of his death it is not clear about his financial situations as some reports now indicates he was living from hand to mouth and had been kicked out of his palatial home in Lavington and was living in a single room in Pangani Nairobi.
