Qualifications For Joining Youtube Partner Program
For your Youtube channel to be accepted into the Youtube Partner Program one must meet the below minimum requirement before applying to join the YPP.
- Your Channel Must have a minimum of 1000 subscribers
- Have at least 4000 public watch hours.
- Post fresh Original Content free from piracy
- Obscene and adult content is not permitted
Once you have met the above minimum requirements you can always check for your eligibility through the Youtube Studio. You can also choose to be notified by email when you reach the Youtube Partner Program threshold.
If accepted into the program you will now be able to set up an Adsense account. Your application will be reviewed and you will get feedback in within a period of 30 days.
