UK Health Minister Tests Positive For the Coronavirus
As Kenya continues to be on a high alert over the Coronavirus epidemic, more countries continue to record high number of deaths and new infections.
British is the latest to be hit hard with Nadine Dorries, British MP and minister in the health department testing positive for Coronavirus.

Dorries revealed the shocking news in a statement on Tuesday 10th leaving many concerned whether there are other senior government officials who may have been infected.
“I can confirm I have tested positive for coronavirus… and have been self-isolating at home,” said the Conservative MP.
With tension so high,Health officials are currently tracing where she might have contracted the virus as well as the people she has been in contact with.

The dreaded Coronavirus has already claimed six lives in Britain while more than 370 have been confirmed to have contracted the virus. Dorries helped craft a legislation to fight the Coronavirus menace and becomes the first British politician to be diagnosed with COVID-19.
“I would like to thank… the wonderful NHS staffs who have provided me with advice and support,” she said, referring to Britain’s National Health Service.
The Times reported that she had been in touch with hundreds of people, including Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
This is not the first case of high ranking government official to be infected. In Iran The assistant health minister also tested positive. The Vice president would also late confirm that he tested positive for the Coronavirus. The coronavirus has continued to claim lives around the globe. With over 120,000 people infected and over 4,000 deaths recorded, more countries continue to stare at the epidemic that seems not going away soon.
