SWVL Charges, Destinations and Routes

SWVL is an Egyptian ride hailing company launched in Nairobi to provide transport services to commuters and long distance travelers. SWVL plights on various routes offering long distance travel services for its customers in Nairobi and other towns.

SWVL initially started with 4 routes within Nairobi but has since branched out to offer long distance rides to passengers traveling to other parts of the country.

SWVL has three categories of rides namely, SWVL Daily, SWVL Travel and SWVL Business.

The ride service company offers long distance travel services to passengers traveling to and from Nairobi in destinations such as Nairobi,Kisumu, Nakuru Eldoret,Kisii, Mombasa, Nyeri,Embu just to name but a few.

Unlike Matatus that have fluctuating prices on fares depending on traffic situation, weather and time of the day, SWVL offers a fixed rate on various destinations and routes. For instance SWL charges Ksh.200 on most routes within Nairobi.

SWVL has also introduced SWVL Premium carpooling service for long distance rides where one can book a ride and share with other heading in the same direction. With the premium carpooling services, passengers pay fixed charges for fixed destinations and passangers are picked at fixed destinations on the specified route.

SWVL Travel Charges

SWVL charges Ksh.600 for long distance passengers traveling from and to Meru.

When you book a travel ride to travel with SWL to travel from Nairobi to Kisumu, you will be charged Ksh.1000. The same travel fee applies to passengers traveling to Nairobi from Kisumu.

Passengers traveling from Nairobi to Nyeri will pay Ksh.380 and the same fare for travel ride back to Nairobi from Nyeri.

SWVL Charges destinations and Routes

SWVL charges a travel ride fee of Ksh.1000 for passengers traveling from Nairobi to Kisii. You will also pay the same amount traveling back to Nairobi from Kisii.

For SWVL passengers traveling from Nairobi to Eldoret, the ride will cost you Ksh.1000. On the other hand it will cost you Ksh.1250 to book a travel ride with SWVL from Nairobi to Mombasa. The same fee applies for passengers traveling from Mombasa to Nairobi.

For passengers traveling on a seven seater bus from Nairobi to Nakuru, SWVL charges a fee of ksh.380.
