Only 13,823 TTC Teacher Training Slots Available. How To Apply Through KUCCPS
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced the opening of applications for admission to public Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs). This comes as part of its ongoing phased placement strategy for various training institutions this year.
For the September 2025 intake, there are a total of 13,823 slots available across 36 public TTCs. Of these, 33 colleges are offering the Diploma in Primary Teacher Education, providing 11,088 opportunities, while 3 colleges are offering the Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education, with 2,735 slots.
The application window will remain open until March 20, 2025.
How to Apply for Courses on the KUCCPS Online System- For The First Time
Registration and Profile Creation
Before you can apply for courses on the KUCCPS online system, you need to register and create a profile. Visit the official KUCCPS website (https://www.kuccps.net/) and navigate to the student portal section. Click on the “Student’s Portal” link and select the option to create a new account. Provide the required information, including your personal details, academic qualifications, and contact information, to complete the registration process.
How To make Application On KUCCPS
- Click on Apply Now option in your home dashboard
- Go to the list of programs. Search by the institution and the course name you wish to study.
- Once you have Identified the program, Click on add
- Open the basket on the top right corner to see the program you have selected to be able to proceed
- From here click on the Application/Revision option
- Enter the course code eg 1101831 and Submit
- You will receive Mpesa prompt with your application details to pay Sh.1500
- Make the Mpesa payment and Click on Submit.
By following the above procedure, Your Application will be submitted successfully
From here you will have to wait for the calling letter and reporting date to join.
How to Pay Using M-PESA
Go to your Lipa na M-PESA Menu
- Select Pay Bill
- Enter Business Number 820201
- For the Account Number, enter your KCSE Year and KCSE Index Number (no space)
- Enter your M-PESA PIN and Send.
