  1. Using your Safaricom SIM Dial *840#
  2. Opt in by accepting the terms and conditions
  3. Select Send Money Abroad
  4. Enter the phone number of the recipient
  5. Enter the Amount you wish to transfer
  6. Enter your Mpesa PIN and send
  7. Money will easily be tranfered to the Ugandan recipient immediately
  8. You will receive a confirmation SMS confirming the transaction

The minimum and Maximum amount you can send to Uganda

The minimum amount you can send to someone in Uganda is KSHS 101 and maximum of KSHS 70,000

Upon making the transaction, the recipient will receive funds in their country’s currency. This applies to all recipients in Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.
