Coronavirus cases rises to 81
The number of infected patients in Kenya continues to rise . 22 more patients have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. Health CS Mutahi Kagwe announced today 1st April.
The patients include 18 Kenyans, two Pakistani and two Cameroonian citizens, CS Kagwe said Wednesday afternoon during the daily coronavirus briefing.
One patient is in critical condition at Aga Khan where he is undergoing treatment.
The news comes some few hours after two patients were confirmed Coronavirus free. The two identified as Brenda and Brian thanked the president and the nurses who attended to them. They asked Kenyans not to treat Coronavirus as a death sentence. They stated than on a great extend ,Coronavirus is manageable.
They also spoke to the president in a televised live stream meeting and thanked the president for the support by his government.

CS Kagwe has urged Kenyans to be more cautious. He noted that the rise in the number of cases may force the government to take more stiffer actions in an attempt to contain the virus.
Asked about a possible lockdown, the CS said, “There is nothing that is not on the table. We need to prepare substantially before we take any steps.
The number of recovered patients from the Coronavirus cases now stands at 3 while the total cases confirmed are 81
