Self employed individuals contribute Ksh.500 monthly to NHIF, while those earning Ksh 5,999 and below pay the lowest amount of Ksh 150. On the other hand employees earning a salary of between KSh 8,000 – 11,999 pay a monthly contribution of Ksh. 400
The highest contributors to the National Hospital Funds NHIF pay a monthly subscription fee of Ksh. KSh 1,700 and these are employees earning KSh 100,000 and above.
