I used to carry a wooden box to school as my parents could not even afford a bag for me to use in carrying my books to school. I really wanted to continue with school but I couldn’t stand my peers making fun of me. So I stopped going to school once I was supposed to report for form three. I decided to stay at home and try to figure out my own life. I believed one day I was going to make it though I didn’t really know how.

I could always go to the shamba to dig for people, till one day I got employed as a shmba guy in a certain family. The people in that family were so successful in life, owned mansions and nice cars. I worked there for a month.

So one day as I was on with my work, a visitor came into the compound but the owners were not around. So I had to attend him. After having a long conversation I gave him a story of my life and how tough life had been for me. The guy really sympathized with my situation. He gave me fifty thousand and told me to have it and think of a nice business that I could open.
