Latest Mpesa Transaction table. sending and receiving money through Mpesa can be hectic. But thanks to the new Mpesa transaction table, Mpesa customers can now know the exact amount they will need to have in their wallet to be able to transact.
It will cost you less sending money from an Mpesa registered customer to to a registered customer. However, you will incur extra transaction costs if the receiver is not registered.
From January 2021, Safaricom revised Mpesa transaction costs in a move that saw charges on most transactions reduced.
The new Mpesa transaction table was following months of free mobile money transfers on values of less than Ksh.1000. To send between Ksh. 101 to Ksh. 500 it will cost you Ksh. 6 and the recipient will be charged Ksh.27 to withdraw.
On the other hand you will be charged Khs.22 to send any amount of between Ksh. 1001 to ksh. 1,500 with Mpesa. The recipient will charged Ksh. 28 to withdraw the same value of money from an Mpesa Agent.

To send Ksh 500 to another Mpesa user, you will be charged Ksh.12 as the transaction cost. The maximum amount one can be charged for transacting with Mpesa is Ksh.105.
Mpesa wallet for clients was also increased from the initial Ksh.150,000 that one could transact per day to Ksh.300,00. However the amount can only be transacted in two batches of Ksh.150,000.
Safaricom continues to roll out services to win more customers and cement its authority as the biggest mobile money transfer platform in the region.
