PesaLink allows you to receive money into your KCB Bank account instantly from another bank anytime, anywhere. The service also allows you to send money directly from your KCB Bank account to any local bank account instantly from as little as KES 10 up to KES 250,000 daily.

How to send money to an account in another bank

Via the KCB App

Open your KCB App.
Select Cash Transfers
Select Send to Other Bank or Mobile
Search and select the beneficiary bank where receiver’s account is domiciled.
Enter the recipient account number, recipient account name, amount & submit.
Enter the mobi PIN and confirm.

You will receive 2 SMS’s, one from KCB and another one from PESALINK confirming the transaction.

Via USSD

Dial *522#
Select Cash Transfers
Select PesaLink
Select Pay a Person
Choose either Pay to a Phone, an Account or a Card
Select the KCB account to pay from
Select the batch where the beneficiary bank falls (based on the bank’s first letter)
Select the beneficiary bank receiving the money
Enter the Beneficiary Account to pay
Enter the amount and submit the transaction
Enter payment description (i.e. Reason for the payment)
Confirm the payment

You will receive 2 SMS’s, one from KCB and another one from PESALINK confirming the transaction.

How to register

Dial *522# enter your mobile banking PIN
Select Cash Transfers
Select PesaLink and proceed to Register.
Confirm your account to be linked to your mobile number. By default the mobile number linked will be your mobile banking registered number.
You will receive an SMS from PesaLink confirming successful registration.
