Ethiopian Electric Utility partners with Wingu Africa to strengthen digital infrastructure
ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia, November 24, 2025 — Wingu Africa, a leading carrier-neutral data centre operator in East Africa, has announced a strategic colocation partnership with the Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU). Through this collaboration, EEU has deployed essential digital infrastructure within Wingu Africa’s Tier III–certified data centre in Addis Ababa, boosting the reliability, security, and efficiency of its technology operations

By colocating its systems in Wingu Africa’s modern, high-availability environment, EEU is strengthening the resilience of its digital services and enhancing its ability to support millions of customers across the country.
The implementation process was completed smoothly, and the installed infrastructure is now fully operational. This milestone underscores the growing importance of secure, robust data centres in helping national utilities and enterprises modernise their platforms and scale with confidence.
