Bees Swarm and Pin Thief to Ground for Three Hours After He Steals Goat from Village

Residents of a quiet village in Nyeri County witnessed a bizarre scene on Saturday, July 26, 2025, when a swarm of bees descended on a man accused of stealing a neighbour’s goat, holding him hostage for over three hours until elders intervened.

According to eyewitnesses, the suspect had been spotted earlier in the morning leading the goat along a footpath towards the nearby forest. Before anyone could confront him, hundreds of bees appeared seemingly out of nowhere and attacked him relentlessly.
