Panic in Village After Self Confessed Witch Collapses During Public Meeting and Names Secret Followers

Residents of a small village in Kisii County were left shaken on Monday, July 28, 2025, after a woman who had long been suspected of practising witchcraft collapsed during a community meeting and began shouting names of people she claimed were part of her “secret circle.”

The meeting had been called to address rising cases of unexplained illness and livestock deaths in the area. Dozens of villagers gathered under a large mango tree to discuss the situation with elders and local leaders.
