Nairobi politician in gold scam exposes himself by sharing incriminating WhatsApp texts
Nairobi residents were left in disbelief on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, after a man believed to be deeply involved in a multi-million-shilling gold scam openly exposed himself by sharing incriminating WhatsApp conversations.
The man, who also holds a political position in one of the city’s constituencies, reportedly forwarded the private chats to several political associates during what sources described as a night of heavy drinking.
