How To Check Safaricom Numbers Registered Under Your ID
Safaricom has made it Simple and possible for all SIM card holders to check all the SIM cards registered under their ID Number. In this article, I take you through a step by step process to do so. There are two methods you can use to check numbers registered under your ID, that is using USSD and online method
Should you find any, I will also show you how to deactivate them
How To Check Safaricom Numbers Registered Under Your ID
Using USSD *106#
1. Dial *106#
2. Select option 1 “Number Query Service”
3. Then select option 1, ‘Check Registration Status’
4. You will then receive an SMS notification listing all the phone numbers registered under your name. The message will look like this “Dear Customer, Registration details for the mobile numbers below are compliant as per government regulations. 1. 0714—570”
In case you find phone numbers that are unfamiliar to you, go ahead and de register them.
Using Online Method
1. Got to the official Safaricom online portal
2. Select ‘My account’ option
3. Enter your phone number
4. You will Receive an OTP(One Time PIN) on your phone,
5. You will receive a pop up message listing all your phone numbers registered under your ID
How To Deactivate phone numbers that are under your ID
1. Dial *106#
2. Select option 1 “Number Query Service”
3. Then select option 4 Deactivate unknown numbers
4. Select the number from the list that you wish to deactivate
5. Then tap on send.
