Open University of Kenya Announces 92 Job Opportuunities
The Open University of Kenya (OUK) has announced multiple job vacancies and is inviting qualified candidates to apply before Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
OUK has stated that there are 92 positions available across various departments including Academics, Administration, and ICT. These opportunities can be viewed in the careers section of the university’s official website.
The open positions include roles for professors, associate professors, senior lecturers, lecturers, and tutorial fellows in its School of Science and Technology and School of Education. The required areas of specialization include Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics, Nursing, Educational Research and Evaluation, Curriculum Instruction and Philosophy, Technology Education (Building and Civil Engineering), and Technology Education (Power Mechanics).
In the School of Business and Economics, OUK is seeking ten senior lecturers and lecturers, as well as a tutorial fellow, in the fields of Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Strategic Management and Leadership, Human Resources, Economics, and Project Management.
In the School of Agriculture, there are two job openings for a lecturer and a tutorial fellow. Candidates should have expertise in Agricultural Economics, Sustainable Food Production, Agriculture and Biotechnology, or General Agriculture.
The Open University of Kenya is also looking for two Senior Assistant Registrars (Academics) and an Assistant Student Counselor.
The vacancies to fill in the OUK Division of Planning and Infrastructure include those of secretaries, drivers, human resource officers, technicians and other maintenance officers.
Its ICT Directorate is searching for various ICT officers who have specialised in Software Engineering, Full Stack Web Development, Database Administration, System Administration and more.
