Network International Enables Apple Pay Acceptance for Four Egyptian Banks
Network International (Network), a leading fintech company operating across the Middle East and Africa, has successfully enabled Apple Pay acceptance for four major Egyptian banks by powering card tokenisation on Apple smartphones. The rollout supports Egypt’s broader digital transformation agenda and strengthens the country’s evolving digital payments landscape.
The launch forms part of the third wave of tokenisation licences granted by the Central Bank of Egypt, marking a significant milestone in the development of Egypt’s digital payment ecosystem. It highlights Network’s market scale, technological leadership, and proven execution capabilities.
Delivering simultaneous go-lives for all four banks within the same licensing wave demonstrates the strength, reliability, and agility of Network’s processing platform, as well as the depth of its local implementation expertise. The achievement underscores the company’s ability to manage complex, multi-bank digital initiatives efficiently while upholding high standards of security, operational resilience, and service excellence.
