Kambua narrates how lack of a child made her turn down Parents Magazine offer

Kambua has revealed how her inability to give birth to a child made her decline an invitation to grace the cover of parents magazine. She stated that Eunice Mathu the director of Parent’s Magazine asked her to grace the cover of her magazine but she was quick to decline since she had no children. This was 4 years ago.

“About 4years ago I met Eunice Mathu (Dir. Parent’s Magazine), in Wamba, Samburu. I’d gone there with AMREF Health Intl. for the Alternative Rites of Passage for girls” Kambua Narrated

“Eunice Mathu asked me to grace the cover of her magazine and I quickly declined, exclaiming, “But I have no children”! She insisted that even though I didn’t, I still had a voice to speak into that space. Well, I didn’t. I wasn’t ready.” Kambua Revealed.

According to Eunice Mathu of the Parents Magazine, Kambua was the perfect voice to speak in the space and that’s why she insisted on her gracing the magazine cover.

Kambua was quick to acknowledge and thank Eunice for finding her worth at a time she (Kambua) doubted herself.

“Looking at this cover my eyes well up because God was and is still writing my story. Thank you Eunice Mathu for finding me worthy even when I doubted myself.” Kambua affirmed.

Kambua reveals that her years of waiting were so daunting. She notes that God taught her lessons and finally had an encounter with him before being blessed with a baby.

“I never stopped believing that God would come through for me (whichever way He chose to). And as I hold my toto today I am reminded that God gives good gifts. My baby Nathaniel is a miracle; He is, as my husband likes to say, a world-changer and a history-maker. And I believe His life will continue to bring glory to God.” Kambua wrote on her Instagram page.⠀.

Kambua went on to encourage all facing hard times and left drowning in despair to hold onto their faith as their miracle is on the way regardless of the waiting period. She stated that God was so faithful even to the faithless.

“I am praying for you” She concluded.
