How to Reverse PesaPal Transaction
PesaPal is a mobile money transfer service that allows you to send money instantly. Considering the widespread use of PesaPal, many people are asking how they can use the PesaPal Sabi App and how they can reverse a transaction.
There are two methods you can use to reverse a PesaPal transaction that we shall look at. The first one is through the PesaPal Sabi Mobile App and the second one is by calling the PesaPal customer care.
With PesaPal, you can send money to anyone, anywhere in the world. You just need their phone number or email address to make your payments.
It’s easy to use, too. Just download the Sabi app on your phone, enter the amount you want to send and the details of who you’re sending it to, and you’re done. The money will go straight into the recipient’s account.
One of the reason you may need to reverse a PesaPal Transaction is when you send the money to the wrong person or when you misspelled the digits. The good news is that you can reverse a PesaPal transaction easily.
How to Reverse PesaPal Transaction
To do so;
- Open your Sabi App and log in with your details
- While logged in to the PesaPal App, locate the navigation panel
- Click on “View Activity”. All your financial transfers history will appear here.
- Identify the transfer you want to reverse.
- Once you have identified the transaction to be reversed click on it to select it.
- The transaction page will appear next.
- Select the “Issue Refund”, a green button.
- You will be required to permit the reverse by clicking “Yes”
- Thats it, the funds will be reversed and money will be credited back to your account
- You will receive a notification immediately the reversal is complete.
How To Reverse PesaPal Transaction Through PesaPal Customer Care

From here, you will be asked for the transaction details before the funds can be reversed. Remember, the money send to a wrong number can only be reversed if it has not been used.
