Engineers are highly skilled individuals and the nature of their work is highly demanding in terms of technical skills and accuracy. Because of these engineers are among the people who receive high salaries in Kenya.

Engineering has so many branches with each branch requiring specialized skills and knowledge. Among the branches in engineering fields include; mechanical engineering, Civil engineering, Electrical engineering, Structural Engineering among others.

Of these, branches one can either work under a specified environment or department depending on the company structure. Engineers with many years of experience pocket close to Sh.1,000,000 in monthly salaries.
